Conquered By Ally Fleming
Gun Ranch Owner Berrill ‘Bear’ Clayton is an accomplished beauty encased in steel. Her toughness isn’t an act, but it isn’t ‘all her’ either. She distances herself from love and intimacy, clinging to the Alpha Girl persona she believes enables her to forget the times she was too weak to save the people she loved.
For Pope Apostolou, meeting the fiercely independent Bear was a necessary soother for raw emotions stoked by the return of an old threat. Pope believes that threat now has Bear in its cross-hairs. It breaks his heart to discover she’s quietly torturing herself for a horrific night 6 years earlier-one that left 10 men dead-slaughtered after a night of debauchery…and betrayal.
In order to triumph over this new threat, Pope will need to show Bear that she can trust him. Unfortunately, Bear has learned to equate trust with surrender-something she refuses to give to any man. Pope would indeed want her surrender when her heart becomes the one thing he wants to conquer.
Conquered is a standalone BWWM Suspense Thriller. For an enhanced reading experience, add “Intoxicated” to your collection. These titles contain scenes of intense violence, language and sexual situations. Intended for mature readers.

The Blyss Trilogy By : J.C. Cliff
Title: The Blyss Trilogy
Book 1# Blyss
Book 2# Blyssful Lies
Book 3# Blyssfully Undone
Author: J.C. Cliff

Blyss (Blyss Trilogy #1)
Blyss is something the world has been trying to create since the beginning of time, the ultimate aphrodisiac, a drug used against women with one single purpose in mind ....
Julianna Oakley has just finished up her junior year at college and flies home to spend her last free summer with her father on their prestigious Georgia estate. Julianna isn't the stereotypical rich girl, a spoiled prima-donna. She's down to earth and has an independent streak a mile wide, insisting she makes her own way in this world.
Nick has been setting the stage for a long time, and sparks fly when their separate worlds collide. She is Nick's ultimate obsession, and he will stop at nothing to own her.
When Travis, Nick's right hand man, lays his eyes on the prize, all hell breaks loose. He should know Nick is playing for keeps, and while Julianna is fighting for her freedom, a lifetime full of secrets and twisted perceptions slowly unravel as Julianna gets caught in the fray.
Blyssful Lies (Blyss Trilogy #2)
Learning how to survive in her new world, Julianna has no choice but to play “The game of Life.” Except it's Nick's game, and his rules apply. Captivity, drugs, and submission are the cards that are dealt, and it's a losing game.
Biding her time as she waits for her rescuers, it's far from smooth sailing, because all too quickly the rules abruptly change as Nick takes matters into his own hands…
As the drama unfolds, and hesitating to interfere, Travis has everything to lose should he decide to step in, including his life.
It's opposition at its finest – freedom versus control as Nick and Julianna face the ultimate battle of wills.
While Travis has the uncanny ability to manipulate her with a single touch, Nick struggles to conquer her body, mind, and soul.
It's every man for themselves as each have their own secret agenda, including Julianna, whose plan is simple: survive.
Blyssfully Undone (Blyss Trilogy #3)
This is Julianna’s story. She lived a normal life until she was about to turn twenty-one, and then all hell broke loose. Years of diabolical scheming unraveling at the seams, unleashing torrents of lies and deceit. The whirlwind of chaos and heartbreak will forever change the game.
Her chosen fate is one of stellar proportions, and she struggles to keep sane, trying to hold it together every step of the way. As the matrix of her concealed past unfolds to deliver the final blow, rationality and sanity begin to take on a definition and meaning of its own.
Nick thinks he’s the night in shining armor while Travis believes he will be enough to save her from herself, but does she even want to be saved?
Both men want her. Both men love her, and both men want to claim her, keeping her for themselves. But, as usual, Julianna has other plans.

One
Summer 2011
No more
than thirteen years old, a girl in hand-me downs and ill-fitting shoes stomped
down the sidewalk. Everywhere her plain brown eyes landed was brokenness.
The row houses that made up her
run-down neighborhood were broken.
The few cars parked along the curb
belonging to people who used the vehicles as temporary shelters when they
couldn’t afford the rent were broken.
And the neighbors … The neighbors
were the worst. Their entire beings were broken. Their minds crumbled by
choices they were pushed by life to make. Their physical bodies aged before
their time by lack of access to quality food choices. Their psyches irreparably
damaged by parents who were stuck in a generational cycle they didn’t have the
tools to break through.
Broken.
Everyone who lived in this part of
town was broken.
And what did brokenness lead to?
Without a backward glance, she ran
from the home where just weeks prior she had found her parents with their
mouths agape, forearms corded off, and needles sticking from their veins.
She ran from her brokenness.
The teen rounded a corner and slowed
her pace to a cool, unaffected gait before she approached the men who were
huddled together. This was the place, the corner, in Lower Manhattan to get the
best drugs, everybody knew that—addict or not.
The teen gripped the crumbled money
in her pocket, a gift from the police officer who felt the need to check on
what was left of her family from time to time. With a kind smile that reached
his violet eyes, he’d told her to buy something just for her. Maybe he thought
she’d treat herself to some earrings or her favorite ice cream—little kid
stuff—but she had lost her childhood a long, long time ago.
Around her, men and women with
sunken, scabbed-over cheeks became the norm. The little girl stuck out like a
sore thumb but had no intention of remaining an ‘other’ any longer. The euphoric smile on the faces of her
neighbors, her deceased parents, and sibling—she wanted that, even for just a
little while.
“You got anything?” she muttered to
no one in particular.
“You lost, kid?” the young man in
the center of the group asked, snickering to his companions.
“I’m not a kid,” she said with defiance.
Her face rose higher in the air and she squared her thin shoulders. Even with a
mature body, the freckles that littered the bridge of her nose and spread to
the apples of her baby face said otherwise.
To amuse her he said, “Okay. So you’re
no kid.” He peered at her closer. “But hand to God, I swear I’ve seen your face
before.”
He
probably had.
Before their deaths, images of the
girl’s parents’ faces hung in neighborhood stores identifying them as regular
shoplifters. They had been arrested so many times they were on a first-name
basis with their arresting officers.
With her face blazing in
embarrassment, the little girl toed the cracked pavement. “I want your best.”
Her words came out low and stammering. She wasn’t a kid, and she planned to
prove it. “I want the best you have,” she repeated louder then shoved the
formerly crisp bills into his face.
Greed alighted his eyes.
“Yo, man, she’s only a ki—”
“Shut the fuck up,” he yelled at the
sole dissenter. “If it’s green, we take it.” He pocketed the money then looked
around.
“Hey,” she shouted, taking a step
toward him. If he thought he would stiff her, he had another thing coming.
“Relax, kid,” he said with a canny
smile. “I wouldn’t do you dirty when your folks were my biggest customers.” His
evil laugh chilled her though the air was balmy. “Take a walk with my friend
over there.”
The young thug had at least a
hundred pounds on her and towered over her by maybe a foot and half. She tucked
her chin into her shirt and kept her gaze low, following the boy’s sneakered
feet to a nearby abandoned house.
“Stay here.” He looked up and down
the street to ensure they weren’t followed before disappearing behind a door
that was falling off its hinges. Before the girl had a chance to worry, he was
back and shoving a small opaque rectangle in her hand.
Almost too beautiful, the deep
purple petal and green stalk painted on the waxy paper dominated the small
expanse. She giggled at the ornate flower.
“Take Over. Best shit on the
market,” he said before walking away.
Holding the pretty bag against her
heart, she turned and walked in the opposite direction.

Avi has a checkered past she doesn’t trust many with
her secrets let alone her heart. Through her best friend well only friend Anna
she crosses paths with the King of New York Noah Adams. Not used to running in
the same circles Avi dismisses him. I mean really who is he except a gorgeous Adonis
who oozes confidences and makes her heart flutter? But Avi is much more than
meets the eye she has secrets of her own and has issues with abandonment. Noah
is more than confident he can break down those walls Avi has put up brick by
brick if that’s what it would take to have her.
Noah doesn’t like the word no. He doesn’t take it from
his enemies and he won’t put up with it from his woman. Noah is an alpha male
in the true sense of the word the only thing is like many dominant characters
he has some darkness that rules his life. He is in urban terms a street pharmacist/drug
dealer. It’s the only life he knows and because of this life it has made him
the ruthless man he is today. Seemingly from two different worlds Avi and Noah
have more in common than meets the eye. I will say that I love the fact that
Avi made him work for her affection. Although at times she was a little annoying
with the cat and mouse game. I just wanted to tell her, “go to him, let him
help you.” This book has some very “deep” elements to it. It’s more than just a
romance it’s a mystery. You see there is some drug hitting the street a lethal
drug, enemies are working behind the scenes and little Avi is right in the
enemies sights. Will Noah and Avi new found love conquer their enemies of will
Avi run like she has been known to do?
What I loved about this story is that the characters
were multidementional and as readers we get to see the characters grow within
their relationship. Each character has a connection and when you find out what
it is whoa!!! Stay tuned for book 2. If you are looking for a mystery, mixed
with some good old fashioned romance this is the book for you. Please judge
this book for yourselves and not based on this one review.

Taz( G-Man Series Book 4) By: Andrea Smith
Pre-order Available
Release Date: March 31st
Blurb
Taz:
My life is finally perfect. My dreams
have all come true. I'm where I want to be with the bureau; having the career
I've been planning since I did my stint in the military. I'm married to the one
and only woman I've ever loved; my heart beats for her alone. Together we've
made beautiful babies that I adore. I'm thirty-three years old and I'm
complete.
Then one day, it all changes. Slate
recruits me for a temporary assignment that is underneath the radar for a
reason. The bureau hasn't sanctioned it as a priority, but Slate feels it is
because of who is involved: Sue Ellen Reynard. Yeah, remember her?
Lindsey:
Our lives were perfect. Taz and I had
everything we'd ever hoped for: family, careers and an everlasting devotion to
one another. Suddenly nothing is the same. In a single moment, my biggest fear
is realized by one phone call from Slate: an 'agent is missing'.
My agent; my Taz . . .
This is just the beginning of our long
journey. Will things ever be the same again?
EXCERPT:
#1
Lindsey
gave me the silent treatment on the way over to Ralston's office. "How did
you know where I was? I asked.
"Slate."
"Hey, I said I was sorry. We're not all that
late," I pointed out to her.
"It's rude to keep Dr. Ralston waiting, Trace. I don't
do rude. I thought this counseling was important to you, apparently I was
wrong."
I stopped instantly and grabbed her by the arm, pulling her
around to face me. "What the fuck, Lindsey? What's up your ass at the
moment?"
She gave me a glare. "It just seems to me that you
might find more productive ways to spend your time when you're here other than
flirting your ass off with the resident skank," she snapped, jerking her
arm free and turning her back on me.
Fuck to the no!
"Wait one damn minute," I growled, spinning her
back around to face me. "It just so happens I went to the shooting range
because I've been trying to qualify to the new standards. It's a requirement
for all agents to recertify. Diana's job is to ensure that they do."
"Hmmph," she snorted derisively, "It looked
pretty cozy to me, but that's neither here nor there because it sounds to me as
if you plan on continuing your career with the Bureau once you're
cleared."
"And why shouldn't I? It's the career I've had for
years, what do you expect?" I was getting angrier by the second, and her
eyes were flashing pure pissed green at the moment.
Time for a showdown.
"I don't know why I would expect any less," she
snapped, "It's always been about the FBI, right? It's never been about me
and the kids, has it?"
That did it.
I totally lost it when she flung those words at me. No
matter how much I still didn't remember, one thing that I knew, with every
fiber of my being, was that what she'd just said had no truth to it. And what
really burned my ass was that she knew it too!
I grabbed her shoulders and pulled her up against me. My
eyes bored into hers and without thinking, I lowered my mouth to hers and
kissed her with a vengeance. It was the first time my lips had touched hers
since I'd been back. There was no tenderness; it was my way of claiming her and
taking possession of what was mine. She would not deny me this.
Her fists pushed against my chest, and then she attempted to
pull away, but her efforts were no match for my strength and determination. My
lips worked hers, and my tongue invaded her mouth and possessed it.
"Stop," I growled pulling back briefly to look down at her,
"Don't resist me."
It was something I might've said to a perp that was resisting
arrest, but at this moment, I was saying it to my wife.
My mate.
The woman that I loved more than life itself.
And suddenly the realization that this was the truth
overwhelmed me. My tempo slowed, morphing from anger to affection; and from
frustration to need.
Lindsey felt the change and stopped struggling against me.
Her arms looped around my neck, and her lips started responding to mine. It was
familiar, and as my tongue once again found hers, we struck a rhythm that was
ours. I could feel her anger and bitterness dissipate. It was replaced with a
soft sweetness that I remembered, and that I could totally bury myself into if
only she would let me.
"Taz," she moaned softly, finally pulling back a
bit.
"Lindsey," I breathed against her soft lips, my
heart pounding in my chest.
"Come on, we've got to make our appointment," she
said softly.
And we did.
It was the first joint session that we'd had where Lindsey
took her place next to me on the leather sofa, instead of her usual chair in
the corner. Ralston didn't miss it either, quirking an eyebrow as his eyes met
mine with just a hint of amusement.
It was a fucking start.
EXCERPT 2
Lindsey: I
took a shower and dressed for bed. Part of me hoped that Taz would tap on my
door and suggest we continue what we'd started earlier, but the other part of
me prayed he wouldn't.
What
would that serve?
I crawled
into our huge bed and, for some reason, it felt emptier than it had over the
past couple of months.
I tossed
and turned for a few minutes, punching my pillow several times to get it just
right and then squeezing my eyes shut, trying to force sleep to descend upon
me.
As if
that would erase the vision of my husband's face, his eyes closed, calling
Talia "baby girl" as she fucked him, that had now become etched in my
brain.
Fuck that
bitch!
He was my
husband!
He was my
lover!
His cock
belonged to me, not her. By denying him what I desperately wanted every bit as
much as he did, I was allowing that bitch to fuck me over!
I am not
a weak person.
It's time
I claim what's always been mine.
I threw the covers off of me and traipsed down
the carpeted hallway to his room, not bothering to knock on the door.
I caught
him by surprise as I threw the door open, and saw him standing in front of the
tall dresser, rooting around for something to wear. He was fresh out of the
shower; a white towel slung low on his hips.
He turned
around as he heard my intrusion. I didn't pause in my mission, making my intent
perfectly clear as I closed the distance between us, and with quick swipe of my
hand, yanked the towel from his body.
I didn't
miss the quirk of his brow as my eyes perused his body, loving every inch of
it, and knowing it was meant for my enjoyment alone. It was my playground; my
turf, and I sure as hell was claiming it again.
"Lindsey?"
"On
the bed, Taz," I said, meaning business. "I'm the only one that rides
your cock."
A slow,
sexy smile graced his lips The rugged appearance he now rocked as a result of
his beard and dark, spiky hair caused me to take a deep breath as his arms
reached for me.
I was born and raised in southern Ohio, and with the
exception of a brief stint in Dallas, TX, have been an Ohioan most of my life.
My dream has always been to write a novel, and back in the early eighties I
tried to do just that, having been influenced by authors such as Kathleen
Woodiwiss, Johanna Lindsey, Rosemary Rogers and Laurie McBain. I remember
writing to all of them through their listed publishers, and the only response I
received was from Johanna Lindsey (who lived in Hawaii at the time.
Ms. Lindsey advised me to continue with my dream; and to
submit to various publishers again and again. Of course, at that time,
publishing e-books yourself was not on the horizon; there were vanity
publishing houses of course, but she advised me to avoid those.
So my dream was put on the back-burner for more than 25
years until June of 2012 when suddenly I no longer had a reason not to write a
novel. My sons were grown; I found myself without a career (blessedly) and the
creative juices flowed once again.
I finished my first novel, "Maybe Baby" in
September of 2012; the next two books in the "Baby Series" titled
"Baby Love" and "Be My Baby" were published in early 2013.
I learned a lot in my first endeavor with self-publishing. I've made so many
friends as a result that it is over-whelming.
In the spring of 2013, I had an idea for a different type of
Alpha, and wrote Book #1 of the "G-Man" Series, titled "Diamond
Girl." This book was well-received, and I followed it with Book #2,
"Love Plus One." These are stand-alone books.
I am finally doing what I love and I sincerely appreciate
the wonderful readers who provide feedback and take the time to comment. I hope
that with each book, my writing has grown and improved as I strive to publish
quality fiction..
